St. James’ is one of the 202 congregations that make up the Diocese of New York, the Episcopal Church USA, and the worldwide Anglican Communion, made up of some 70 million people. The Anglican Communion, like other Christian Churches, is founded upon the affirmation that Jesus Christ is Lord. As such, the Anglican/Episcopal tradition represents the continuous tradition of one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church. The Episcopal Church, originally and officially known as the Protestant (meaning not Roman Catholic or Orthodox) Episcopal (paradoxically meaning not like other Protestants) Church in the United States of America, is but one national Church in the Anglican Communion.

St. James’s Church is located on the village green in Goshen on the corner of South Church Street and St. James Place. Goshen is located in the center of Orange County and directions are easy. St. James’ is handicap accessible and there is plenty of free parking.
