CONCLUSION

I have a 2000 ford explorer with a 2.3l engine. I am looking to replace the stock air filter with a new one. The original filter was installed in 2004 and has been replaced twice since then. The original filter is in good shape, but it needs to be replaced due to corrosion and rust on the metal housing that holds the filter in place. It is also important to note that this is not an easy job as you will need some tools, an angle grinder, and a hammer if you want to do it right.
