Lenten Stations of the Cross Service. Fridays at 7:00pm March, 3 thru April, 14

 The Stations of the Cross, or in Latin the Via Crucis, tell the story of the Passion of Jesus Christ in fourteen steps or stations.  Walking the Stations is a tradition for Roman Catholics and also Anglicans and Lutherans.  It  is a common Lenten practice.  Most of the stations come directly from Scripture while the others come from tradition. The 4H Orange County Hare Raisers will host, the March 25 Community Dinner at

St. James’.

The dinner will be held @ 5:30 pm in the  St. James’ Parish Hall.  

Started in June of 1999, the Community Dinner at St. James’ began as a program to help feed those who could use a free meal and companionship, at the end of each month when funds may be low, and people find it hard to keep food on the table. The Next Thursday Night distribution is March 30 at 6:30pm to 7:15pm Please arrive at 6:00pm to help with the distribution on Thursday.

The Goshen Ecumenical Pantry Inc.  Housed in the Goshen First Presbyterian Church at 33 Park Place, Goshen, hands our food to Goshen residents, on the second Saturday of each month from 9:30am to 10:30am  Please arrive at 8:50am to help with the distribution on Saturday. & on the last Thursday of the month from 6:30pm to 7:15pm. Please arrive at 6:00pm to help on the Thursday distribution.
